Privacy policy

This page explains what GetWebz.com collects, why, and what happens to it. It covers this website. It does not cover the websites we build for clients, which have their own policies.

The short version

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from third-party servers. Nothing is tracked. The only personal information we get is what you type into one of the two forms and send to us on purpose.

What we collect

The contact form. Your name, email address, the type of business you chose, and the message you wrote.

The client onboarding form. The answers you give about your business: business name, your name, email address, phone number if you add one, and your answers about goals, design, content and timing.

Automatically. Our hosting provider records ordinary server logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser user agent) for security and reliability. We use your IP address in memory to limit how many times the forms can be submitted, which is what stops automated spam.

We do not collect payment card details on this site.

Why we use it

To answer you, to quote and plan your project, and to keep the forms from being abused. Nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for advertising, and we do not send marketing emails or a newsletter.

Where it goes

Form submissions are sent to us as an email through Google (Gmail) and stay in that inbox. This website is hosted by Vercel, which processes the ordinary server logs described above. Those two companies process the data on our behalf and under their own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted from the inbox within about twelve months. Project correspondence is kept while we work together and for as long as we need it afterwards for tax and record-keeping. Server logs follow our host's own retention period, which is short.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. Write to contact@getwebz.com and we will do it. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to processing, to receive a copy of your data in a portable form, or to complain to a data protection authority.

Children

This site is for business owners. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, the forms accept submissions only from this site, and submitted values are validated and escaped before they reach us. No system is perfect, but we keep the surface small on purpose: no trackers, no third-party scripts, no database of visitors.

Changes

If we add anything that changes this (analytics, a booking widget, a chat tool), we will update this page and the date at the top before it goes live.
